Open Government Partnership (OGP) aims to create a government that is more accessible, accountable, and responsive to its citizens. OGP is based on the idea that the relationship between the people and the government will improve in the long term, as a society with great benefits will be created for everyone. Among the participants of today’s round table meeting, the Director of the “Democracy Development Center DEMO” NGO G. Undral shared her experience of the previous OGP planning stages and advised to focus on the partnership of other stakeholders in the next plan; the Head of the “Mongolian Women's Labor Support” NGO Sh. Ariunaa highlighted the importance of CSO’s full participation at all stages of the planning; the President of the Mongolian Trade Union Federation S. Erdenebat shared his idea to include specific thematic commitments such as right to freedom of peaceful assembly and association, and the Executive Director of "Globe International" NGO Ch. Enkhbayar underlined the completed works within the framework of the MASAM project and suggested to include more representatives of CSOs and NGOs in the Multi-Stakeholder Forum composition while focusing on planning goals that will produce real results in the next action plan.
