The Office of OGP MSF conducts OGP Virtual Bootcamp

The Office of the National Council of Open Government Partnerships aims to expand cooperation in strengthening the values of Open Government Partnerships, especially research and analysis on social responsibility, transparency, openness, democracy, justice, and civil space; to discuss future cooperation possibilities; On January 19, 2024, "Open Government Partnership Intensified Online Training" (OGP Virtual Bootcamp) was organized in order to contribute to the determination of partnership priorities.

During the first part of the training course, "Looking back at the past", the guest speaker, Khatanbold Oidov, head of the Department of Politics and Law of the Institute of Philosophy of the Academy of Sciences, gave a speech on the topic of "Mongolia's Democracy and Civil Society Stages", and Amarbayasgalan Dorj, a World Bank consultant, gave a speech on "Initiatives toward social accountability and issues to be considered in the future (2016-2020)", researcher Saranchuluun Otgon "Exploring the current state of civic space and identifying its need for a favorable environment (2021)", "Youth control in politics" NGO director Amarzaya Tumurbaatar shared information on the topic "Development and use of citizen participation assessment methodology".

In the second part of the training, "We are today", Khaliungoo Ganbat, Director of the Governance Program of the Asia Fund, "Media and Civil Society Strengthening (MACSS)" project, B. "Digital inclusion through CSO empowerment / DICE" project by Mungunkhishig Batbaatar, Gunjidmaa Gongor, Executive Director of the Media Council, "Voice of change: CSOs strive for accountability, transparency, and public understanding" "Voices of Change: CSOs join forces to advocate for Accountability, Transparency and Public Awareness" project and answered the questions of the participants.

In Part III, "Future Destinations and Cooperation", Founder of "Data for Development" NGO Delgermaa Boldbaatar presented the knowledge graph tool "Strengthening civil society oversight based on data" and Bolorsaikhan Badamsambuu, Secretary of the National Council of Open Government Partnership, held a discussion, shared their experience.
